Why?

I live in Greenland.

Adventure with my purebred Greenland Dogs is my life. In Canada for years my dream was to keep the working talents alive of what was known as the Canadian Eskimo Dog. For thirty years the breed has verged on extinction with barely 300 known dogs left in the world. I had fifteen. Sunday 5th March 2006 changed all that.

The death of my dogs altered the course of my life. Over the years mentors and contempories reckoned Greenland was the place for me. I still love Canada but working dogs in its Arctic regions is history. It will never be seen again. Hospitalised I planned for Greenland.

There’s no turning back, Greenland is now home and I love it.
